I am Elizabeth Laryn.  I live in the Pacific Northwest — Portland, Oregon to be exact.  I grew up here and returned many years after college, along with my husband of 24 years and our two children–who I adore.  We have a dog that smiles and thinks he is the center of attention–he’s right.

Elizabeth  is my middle name. By using it, instead of my full given name, I find I write freely.

I am a published author — a book and a few articles–related to my life as a  teacher.  But, this blog is my heart.  If you read my post From Mountain Tops, you will know what I intend this blog to be all about.
